We are to record more material before Christmas and we'll have another free release before then for you all to enjoy. Why not eh?

Your next opportunity to us live in the flesh is this Saturday (5th November) at the beach ballroom in Aberdeen for Jimstock 2011. Entry is £15 and it kicks off at 5pm, all for a really good cause being the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Coronary Care unit.

First post...

Hello all.

If you are reading this, then you have successfully entered the surreal world of the Marionettes (haven't heard that in a while).

Anyway welcome to our new blog, lot's of exciting things are happening for our band over the next few months. The first phenomenon being the FREE release of our newest single "Today A Dog Shall Die" as of Friday 28/10/2011 from the link at the top of this page!

We will be playing the illustrious Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen on bonfire night (that's the 5th of November, right?) for Jimstock music festival, which is raising money for the Aberdeen coronary care unit. The only prerequisite required are 15 of your British pounds for a long night of great music kicking off at 5pm.

So that's it until next year when we hit the studio proper, while Daryl has surgery on his wrist because it's broken. Lame.
